Engaging Singing lessons with creative and informative support

As a singing tutor, my teaching approach is tailored to students of all levels and ages. I believe in a creative and engaging methodology that is interactive. In addition, sometimes my methodology also relies on lecture based teachings to inform the student on technical components before putting these techniques directly into practice. Furthermore, I will help you develop the creative expression required for music while personalizing lessons based on your preferred genres and instruments. For example, picking repertoire that not only interests you but also motivates and inspires you to continue moving forward in your artistry. Another point I emphasise in my lessons, is being a good singer means being a good musician. To read and understand music is fundamental. It means understanding what the composer or song writer wrote and in turn being able to better interpret and the performance the music. In addition, by focusing on theory and practice accordingly, I ensure that my students excel in music exams, college auditions, and more. Performance assessments are used to evaluate progress and improve learning outcomes. Some of these assessments include ear-training and solfeggio quizzes. Another important aspect of my classes is helping my students to use music as a way to express their emotions. They say "The voice is the organ of the soul" and I believe through music you have the power to touch people.
