Hello! I'm Jyoti, a passionate English tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Post graduate certificate in teaching English. My teaching philosophy revolves around making learning fun and engaging for all my students. I specialize in GCSE, IGCSE English, EFL, ESL, IELTS, ACT English, ACT Reading, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition, and ACT Writing. Whether you're in school, college, or a professional adult, I cater to all levels of learners. No two students are the same and this is why, all my lessons are customised to each student's academic needs. Also, pupils are different in terms of academic preferences, learning style, learning aids, etc, so every student does need specific lessons catered to them particularly online. Not just that, I have other learning material, past paper answers and example answers and various other notes for English Literature and Language that come free with my lessons. These exclusive notes and sample answers are written by me and have beautiful illustrations in them that will intrigue the learner.

As an experienced GCSE English tutor, I have developed a teaching style that is interactive, creative, and practical. I believe in engaging my students through hands-on activities and real-life examples to make learning enjoyable and effective. I use creative writing assignments and literary analysis projects to help my students improve their writing and analysis skills, which are essential for success in high school and college admissions essays. The lessons always start with a recap of what was covered in the past lessons and a revision of the learning material shared during earlier classes. The lesson then moves to imparting theory in English Literature and Language or analysis of texts, that may be fiction or non-fiction and then the last minutes of the lesson go in implementing the learned material. Also, questions from past papers are shared and solved. When working with students of all levels, including school, college, and adult/professional, I assess their reading and writing abilities to create a personalized learning plan that meets their specific needs and goals. My goal is to not only help students excel in their English studies but also to foster a love for language and literature.
