Creative ESL tutor with engaging, concept-focused lessons

Heya! I am an ESL, IELTS, ACT Reading, AP English Language and Composition, ACT Writing tutor who also specializes in all levels of Math. I teach students and adults from all grades and levels. For English, I excel at helping learners improve their writing and analysis skills for success in high school and college admissions essays. I also put focus on phonetics for students who learn English as a second language, and make grammar rules extremely easy by incorporating tips and tricks for better retention. For Math, I focus on making tougher topics seem a lot easier by fully understanding a concept through an interactive, fun and creative approach before moving on to lots of guided practise. My teaching style is energetic and interactive, concept-focused, and detailed. I assess each student's strong suits and not-so-strong suits, so I can create a personalized plan for both short-term goals and long-term goals in order to enhance the skills that they might think they are not the best at, while also maintaining what they excel in, by using interactive and multimedia resources, guided quizzes, tips and tricks, e-books with annotations, and grammar tools.
