Hey! I'm Esha Nagi, an English, Math, and Coding tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications specialized in Internet of Things. I am also doing my Master's in Artificial Intelligence and have interned at a few MNCs for the same. My teaching philosophy is taking hard topics head-on and absolutely smashing them! It also revolves around creating a positive, non-judgemental, curiosity invoking environment where students feel encouraged to engage and participate actively. When it comes to student engagement, I believe in incorporating interactive activities, audio-visual teaching of real-life examples, and practical applications after conceptualization to make the learning experience more participating and easier to remember. I specialize in teaching English as a second language (ESL), preparing students for IELTS exams, guiding them through ACT Reading and Writing, as well as AP English Language and Composition. I also specialize in school and undergrad-level Mathematics and Statistics, as well as Coding. Heya! I am an ESL, IELTS, ACT Reading, AP English Language and Composition, ACT Writing tutor who also specializes in all levels of Math. I teach students and adults from all grades and levels. For English, I excel at helping learners improve their writing and analysis skills for success in high school and college admissions essays. I also put focus on phonetics for students who learn English as a second language, and make grammar rules extremely easy by incorporating tips and tricks for better retention. For Math, I focus on making tougher topics seem a lot easier by fully understanding a concept through an interactive, fun and creative approach before moving on to lots of guided practise. My teaching style is energetic and interactive, concept-focused, and detailed. I assess each student's strong suits and not-so-strong suits, so I can create a personalized plan for both short-term goals and long-term goals in order to enhance the skills that they might think they are not the best at, while also maintaining what they excel in, by using interactive and multimedia resources, guided quizzes, tips and tricks, e-books with annotations, and grammar tools.
