Dive into Physics with a Concept-Focused Problem Solver!

Hello, my name is Hamza, and I recently graduated as a Civil Engineer from the top engineering university in Pakistan. Have you ever wondered how massive structures like dams, barrages, thousands of kilometers of highways, and skyscrapers are even built? It is us, civil engineers who turn the dreams of architects into reality! With that being said, I like visualizing the most critical problems and seeing the solution practically because I believe that majority of problems are solved when we understand what the actual problem is. I've aced physics during my lower as well as upper high school levels. I've been teaching GCSE, IGCSE, AP and equivalent level Physics, as well as enabling engineers master their subjects for 2 years, in which I helped multiple students to prepare for their exams by delivering conceptual lessons as well as solving some sample questions. Interestingly, I have very adaptive nature. I can set my teaching level according to students' caliber. But personally, I prefer giving critically conceptual lessons so that my student knows what he/she is learning about. I have taught multiple GSCE, AQA GSCE, IGCSE and AP Physics, and Engineering students. I have a decent grip on topics such as: Engineering Subjects: •Strength of Materials (Helped 10+ students ace their subjects!) • Mechanics (My personal favorite subject, and a big part of my major) • Statics for Engineering • Basic Civil Engineering Courses Basic Physics Topics such as: • Kinematics and Dynamics • Optics • Matter (Material properties etc.) • Thermal Physics • Electricity (Circuits, Ampere's Law, Gauss's Law etc.) • Waves • Radioactivity (Alpha, beta, gamma radiations) and other topics as well...

The main headline of my teaching style is "Concept Building". Here's a brief flowchart of my teaching approach: 1. Assess the student's caliber, interests, and topic's understanding level. 2. Begin from the basics. And explain everything about the concept that student needs to know. Practical applications and real-world examples. 3. Explain the topic in such a way that student master the whole concept. I enjoy enabling the students to understand the subject matter to such an extent that they can solve the problems themselves. 4. Explaining alternate ways/approaches to the problem solving to broaden the students' vision. When it comes to problem solving part, I use a specific 3-step method: Step 1: Understanding the problem. The general perspective. Step 2: Breakdown of the problem into segments and linking them so that we know what we are going to do to ultimately achieve the goal. Step 3: Following the pathway, with clear explanation of every step we take. I like using my tablet and pen to deliver the lecture on the digital notebook which enables me to use various colors and illustrations that take the learning and teaching experience to the next level. And I do share the lesson notes as well, that turns out to be quite helpful for the students to review the lesson afterwards.
