About your tutor
I have a passion for travelling, exploring different cultures and language learning. In 2021, I completed the CELTA qualification. Completing this course prepared me with the practical skills needed to teach English as a foreign langauge to students of all levels. Since then, I have worked in a secondary school in Madrid and a primary school in Seville as an English Language Assistant. Along side this work I would give private classes to teachers, students and parents looking to improve their English language skills. Additionally, I worked for British Youth International College, an online tutoring platform for young British learners who need extra help with writing, reading, spelling and speaking skills. I believe my previous training and work experience have equipped me with the skills to be an effective and engaging ESL teacher.

I offer English lessons to learners of all ages and levels. Due to my experience with varied age groups, I can easily create and adapt materials to meet the student's needs. Firstly, I like to hear from the student what areas of English language learning they would like to work on and their goals. I am also happy to plan lessons based on the student's areas of interest to keep them more engaging. I think it important to provide feedback to the student so I normally include an error correction portion at the end of lessons. I like to keep lessons fun and create a comfortable environment!
