Creative French lessons with motivational support

I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor's degree in History and Modern Languages, with my chosen language of study being French. I studied modules on French literature, European and World History, focusing particularly on medieval literature and gender in the early modern period. For the third year of my degree, I completed a teaching placement in Paris, France, working as an English Language Assistant in a secondary school. Alongside this placement I have extensive experience delivering online tuition, having done so with a local tutoring firm in the UK since 2020, having worked in person for two years prior to this. I have lots of experience tutoring GCSE French, English, History.

I am happy to offer tutoring sessions to students of any age. I always engage with the student to set individual targets that are specific to their learning needs for their upcoming studies and/or examinations. In the last two years I have helped four students achieve a grade 5 or above in their GCSE French, as well as assisting with their English and History revision as needed throughout the year. I have a very detailed knowledge of specifications delivered in the UK school system, and have experience adapting this style of tutoring to international systems, such as the schooling system in France. I am also able to provide support and guidance with university applications and interviews for History or Languages, particularly to Cambridge and Oxford.
