Hello! I'm Maisoon Shaaban, an Egyptian Violinist working in Cairo Symphony Orchestra and a music tutor specializing in teaching violin. With a Bachelor's degree in Music, I am passionate about helping students of all levels - school, college, and even adults/professionals - discover the joy of playing the violin. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow. As a Violin tutor, I cater to students of all levels from school to adult and professional levels. My teaching style is interactive and lecture-based, focusing on detailed concepts and problem-solving. I believe in hands-on and practical learning to enhance the student's skills effectively. I personalize music lessons based on the student's preferred genre and instrument, adapting theory and practice accordingly. My goal is to help students develop creative expression essential for music and create a tailored learning plan focusing on theory and practice. Many of my students have performed on stage at various events and pursued professional careers in music, and I am here to guide you on your musical journey. I offer tutoring sessions on Violin for all levels from beginner to advanced students. I concentrate on holding the violin and the bow well as this is the most important skill for Violin students so if you can hold the violin and the bow well everything can be easier then. I choose the repertoire according to the student needs. Most of the time I start with the beginners from Suzuki Violin Method as this is the most helpful curriculum for Learning the Violin but sometimes from ABRSM and Trinity. I can help you making your practice more fun.
