I am an English, French, and IELTS instructor with over 12 years of teaching experience, specializing in IELTS instruction for the past 6 years. I have a strong passion for teaching and a proven track record of helping students achieve their language goals. I hold a Master of Arts in Translation Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. Throughout my career, I have worked with students aged 6 to 60, providing tailored instruction to meet their needs. I am fluent in English and French and have extensive experience working in diverse educational settings. Currently, I am teaching English, French, G1-12 Ontario Curriculum English courses, and IELTS in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

For General English and French, I emphasize all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. My goal is to ensure that students can use the language effectively for everyday communication. I incorporate practical activities and real-life scenarios to help students apply what they learn in class to their daily lives. My IELTS courses are specifically designed for students who currently have a band score of 5.5 and aim to achieve a higher score. These courses focus on the unique requirements of the IELTS exam, providing targeted practice and strategies to excel in each section. For pre-IELTS students, the focus is on building the necessary language skills to reach a band score of 5.5, preparing them to transition into the IELTS preparation course. For the Ontario Curriculum, I guide students in analyzing various literary works, including novels, poems, short stories, media, journalism, and movies. I teach them how to critically evaluate and interpret these texts, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of literature and media.
