Motivational Piano lessons with practical problem solving

My teaching style stands out because, being a teenager myself, I offer constant availability for any queries my students may have. I prioritize creating a supportive environment where students feel confident and comfortable from the start. In the initial 10-15 classes, we focus on mastering fundamental concepts such as major and minor scales, harmonic majors and minors, and other essential techniques. Alongside this, we learn a variety of songs to apply these skills practically. Once the basics are well-established, I conduct a thorough one-hour test covering major and minor scales, as well as chords, to gauge understanding and progress. This assessment helps us identify areas for further improvement and ensures a solid foundation before moving on to musical notations and more advanced topics. I'm proud to mention that some of my students are currently preparing for their Trinity piano exams in the coming months, which underscores their progress and readiness for formal assessments.
