Practical AP English tutor with creative, patient lessons

Im Harmony, with a Bachelors in English Literature, and for over 15 years, Ive been offering personalized one-on-one online classes. My main emphasis is on high school students from diverse backgrounds, specializing in AP English Language. Outside of teaching, I find joy in exploring nature through hiking, discovering new trails.

In my approach to AP English Language instruction, I prioritize a comprehensive understanding of language, and critical analysis. Through personalized guidance and targeted exercises, I aim to deepen students comprehension of written and spoken texts, as well as their ability to craft persuasive arguments and analyze rhetorical strategies. By exploring a diverse range of texts and media, from classic literature to contemporary speeches and advertisements, students develop a nuanced understanding of languages power and its role in shaping perceptions and beliefs.
