Transforming Language Skills with Passion and Precision!

As an experienced and dedicated educator with a passion for language and academic skills teaching, I am committed to helping students achieve their academic goals. I currently work as an Academic Skills Lecturer at GBS, where I collaborate with subject lecturers to develop and teach study skills within the curriculum across a range of HE programmes, from Foundation to Masters’ Level. My extensive background includes teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) at St. Thomas More Language College, volunteering as an English teacher for adult refugees, and collaborating with international organizations like The British Council and the US Embassy in Kabul. With expertise in various educational technologies and a personalized approach to instruction, I am eager to support students in enhancing their language skills, achieving academic success, and unlocking their full potential.

My teaching methodology is fundamentally student-centered, focusing on the individual needs, strengths, and goals of each student. I believe in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment where students are active participants in their education. I teach a variety of English courses, including General English, Academic English, and Business English, and I assist students in writing their assignments across different levels, from secondary school to Master's level. I regularly adapt my instructional materials and methods to cater to different learning styles and levels, ensuring that each student receives personalized support.
