Motivational Math tutor with empathetic, creative problem-solving lessons

With a deep passion for education, I have spent the past 6 years teaching SAT Math to students ranging from high school to college level. During this time, I’ve gained valuable experience in helping students build strong mathematical foundations while boosting their confidence for the SAT. My approach focuses on clear explanations, hands-on problem-solving, and regular practice, ensuring students feel well-prepared for test day. I’ve had the privilege of helping many students improve their scores and achieve their academic goals. My greatest reward is seeing students grow not just in knowledge, but in self-belief. I’m committed to making learning engaging and meaningful, and I strive to be a guide and support system for each student on their educational journey.

My teaching methodology for SAT Math focuses on Compassion, Flexibility, Communication, Accountability, and Positivity. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to fit their individual needs, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged. Compassion drives me to create a safe space where students can ask questions without fear of judgment. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to the student’s pace and areas of struggle, while open communication helps us work together to set clear goals. I hold students accountable for their progress through regular check-ins and practice, all while maintaining a positive attitude to help them stay motivated. In addition to SAT Math, I also offer tutoring in other related subjects, always using this student-centered approach to foster success across the board.
