Developing a healthy and correct technique with the piano is crucial for fully understanding the instrument and achieving the desired sound. That's why I patiently guide and explain concepts in detail to my students, as many times as necessary, adapting my teaching approach to ensure thorough comprehension and integration of knowledge. I believe in maintaining active communication with students regarding their learning process, emphasizing the importance of active listening, participation, and consistent practice outside of lessons to make the most out of them. I aim to empower students to truly make a piece their own, focusing on a deep understanding of the piece and a technical proficiency to express emotions through the piano. During my classes, I distribute the time for working both technical exercises and repertoire. I find that focusing solely on one aspect can lead to burnout or a lack of technical skills necessary to achieve desired musical expression.
