About your tutor

I'm Mariya, I am a Pianist and Keyboardist from Pune. I've been learning Piano for over 14 to 15 years unofficially (I start when I was 6 years old). Officially it has been around 8 years. I have learned with multiple teachers; to name a few - Sanna Goswami (Santunes Music, Pune) from whom I learned as a child ( https://www.santunesmusic.com/ ) Roxane Anklesaria (Academy of Music, Pune) who taught me Western Classical at later stages and helped me reach an Intermediate Level of learning. ( https://www.academyofmusicpune.com/introduction.htm ) and Nikolai Michenko, a ex student of Berklee from whom I learnt Jazz online. ( https://sam.org.in/nikolai-mishchenko/ ) I have been teaching Piano for 4 years now. It started off with taking classes online and then working as a Piano faculty at the Monkey Head Music Academy in Pune for a year. ( https://www.themonkeyheadacademy.in/ ) I am now making my place in the world as a full-time musician, budding producer and film scorer and a freelancing educator in the Industry.
