About

Hello! I'm an English, French and Spanish teacher with over 15 years of experience in the field, showcasing proven abilities in classroom management. I have extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and adults in private schools and language institutes, as well as providing training and guidance to fellow teachers. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education specialized in Teaching English and Spanish as foreign languages. Currently, I'm pursuing a Master's degree in Hispanic Studies and conducting research on how linguistic policies impact interest in language learning. I believe that everyone is capable of learning, and it's both my job and pleasure to teach, with the understanding that my effort is the student's right.

Teaching methodology

My teaching approach is tailored to meet the specific academic requirements of each student. I provide thorough explanations of concepts using relevant examples.

For students ranging from pre-kindergarten to college level, I employ diverse strategies to ensure comprehension and engagement. Lesson plans are meticulously crafted to address individual academic needs.

I like to incorporate music, literature, and arts into language instruction to create dynamic learning experiences. With 15 years of experience as a Teacher and Tutor, I have successfully guided hundreds of students towards achieving their language learning objectives and excelling in certification exams. Additionally, I offer assistance with assignments and homework to support overall academic progress.

Each time I have a new group, I hope that everyone will improve their language skills by the end of the course, and that guiding them, while not easy, will be rewarding in the end. This motivates me to find ways to guide my students in the best possible manner, by observing and appreciating their differences, without overestimating or underestimating anyone, and also giving them the freedom to choose ways of working, activities, or other means so that they can manage their own learning.

Because of all this, I chose the path I chose. The teachability of the human being and working towards the development of the student's potential is something we must always keep in mind.

On the other hand, we must not forget that we ourselves are in a process of learning every day. There is always something new to learn since we are all ignorant in some way and/or about something. Therefore, at the end of the day, we should not only analyze the results and whether the class objectives were met, but also analyze what we have learned from our students, and why not, share that with them.

From my experience, discussing with them what we learned together in class helps strengthen the bond between teacher and students.
