Expand your classical guitar repertoire with engaging technique & melodic flair

The philosophy is my pedagogy rests on the idea of independence. The ultimate goal is to be able to listen to a song and find the notes yourself without any guidance. That, of course, takes months to practice and is a long-term goal I set for all my students. Apart from leaning the physical aspects of the guitar such as the head, neck, body - all of which have their own smaller parts - we will cover the types of guitars such as the classic guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar etc. The physical aspects of the guitar will be followed by tuning; most guitarist make the mistake not understanding how and why the strings are tuned the way they are. I can also teach you to change strings! The most important aspect to focus on after familiarizing ourselves with the guitar and its various parts - alongside learning how to use the plectrum and coordinate both our hands - is the idea of theory. What we commonly use nowadays is known as Western Music Theory as opposed to, let's say, Carnatic or Hindustani. Here, we will cover scales, chords, chord progressions, reading sheet music, and much more. I hope that such an extensive syllabus covers all the bases for my students, helping them to become the best guitarist around town!
