About
I am in the second year of my undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University, pursuing a major in Neuroscience (honours), and a minor in Statistics, with an inclination towards pursuing medical school after my degree. I come from a solid academic background in STEM with a precise attention to detail and a passion towards improving the student environment. I have maintained a well-balanced program of study, enhancing my analytical and technical skills while building my teamwork and leadership capabilities. With my background in Statistics, I understand the nuances of data analyses and know learning how to code in R. Further, I volunteer in a sleep research lab in the department of Medical Neuroscience at Dalhousie! I always encourage my tutees to talk to me about their goals, in STEM or otherwise, as it builds a positive approach towards tackling challenges.

Teaching methodology
My teaching strategies are totally based on the requirements of the students as the learning requirements of each student are different. Generally, I explain each and every concept in the most simplified way I can, and I am also keen on listening to the student's doubts and providing clarifications to them. I try to keep my students as engaged in the discussions as I can. We can work together on assignments, homework, and prepare for quizzes, tests, or exams!
