About
I have always been excited about teaching, and showing students the beauty of math. I am a fourth year undergraduate student at Toronto Metropolitan University studying mathematics and its applications and minoring in psychology. I have worked as a tutor for eight years, teaching grades 2-12. One of my proudest accomplishments was creating hundreds of in-depth math worksheets based on the Ontario Math Curriculum, and using them in tutoring sessions. I enjoy finding connections between the abstract world of mathematics and the real-world, such as using algebra to design buildings. I always look forward to tutoring as I find it rewarding to see students gain not just knowledge, but confidence in their ability to learn.

Teaching methodology
I recognize that each student has their own struggles and strengths, and so I tailor my instruction to meet the needs of the student. I believe in creating an engaging environment where students are active in their learning journey. I encourage students to ask questions, embrace challenges, and learn from mistakes to do better in the future. My belief is that education is not just about learning information, but learning how to think critically, and become more curious about the way the world works.
