My tutoring sessions take a student centered approach, helping students to develop necessary skills while allowing them to determine the direction of their learning. I work best when students have a particular assignment they need help with as I can walk them through it providing guidance while they attain mastery.

I have completed a bachelor's of the arts in history and a bachelor's of science in psychology with minors in English and Russian. Having been certified to teach English and History in the my home state of Texas, I've been tutoring for several years starting with private students when I returned to university for my history degree. Outside of education I've worked in the medical field and private security and have management experience. I'm quite skilled in assisting editing and proofreading, teaching research skills, and helping students develop hands on skills for humanities subjects. My areas of expertise are history, English, and psychology.
