About your tutor
I hold a Bachelor of Architecture degree from CEPT University, where he was shortlisted for the best design thesis award, and a postgraduate degree from Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, where I explored the intersection between technology and the built environment. I am proficient in AEC software such as Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, Revit, and Unreal Engine, and has a keen interest in the creative and sustainable design choices in architecture. I am motivated by the challenge of integrating the digital realm with the physical world, and the potential of technology to transform the built environment.

Class overview
My teaching strategies are totally based on the requirements of the students. As the learning requirements of each student are different. Generally, I explain each and every concept in the most simplified way I can, and I am also keen on listening to the students doubts and providing clarifications to them. I try to keep my students as engaged in the class discussions as I can. I also assist them with their assignments, homework, and test preparation.

Architecture concept taught by Keshava
Keshava taught Andrew how to use SketchUp and Layout to create construction documents from a 3D model. Andrew practiced model cleanup, adding architectural details, setting up scenes and section planes, and importing the model into Layout for dimensioning. They addressed dynamic linking issues and scheduled a follow-up lesson.

Keshava taught Emara how to modify beam sizes, lengths, and connections within a Revit truss family. The session covered loading new beam types, unpinning and extending beams, and using the notch and cut tools to refine joins. Keshava stressed finalizing the overall design before detailed adjustments.

Keshava taught Andrew advanced SketchUp techniques, including using solid tools for complex roof shapes, component creation, and model error correction. They also covered using section planes. They prioritized the base model and planned to cover doors, windows, materials, and construction documents in a future session.

Keshava guided Salma through the initial stages of a Rhino/Grasshopper assignment, focusing on importing, scaling, and aligning roof plans and elevations in Rhino. Salma practiced these techniques, and Keshava suggested she prepare the remaining elevations before their next session to continue building the 3D model.

Keshava mentored Liz on her community center architecture project, advising her on improvements to her ArchiCAD model, including flow diagrams, water management, parking, and roof design. Liz needs to prioritize the roof design before their next meeting, in preparation for the final review on May 27th.
