About your science tutor

Teaching has been a significant part of my journey. I've had the privilege of instructing students in a wide range of subjects, from English and Math to General Sciences, spanning all the way from first grade to university level. What I love most about teaching is helping students discover their academic goals through challenging word problems and rigorous practice. I firmly believe that making small mistakes while solving these problems is a crucial aspect of the learning process. It's through these errors that we truly grow, not only by learning from our mistakes but also by developing the perseverance to find the right solutions. Beyond academics, I've also been involved in community service. I had the opportunity to work with a non-profit organization in India called HelpAge India, where I contributed to assisting disadvantaged senior citizens. My work involved fostering their involvement in the community, collaborating with nearby schools, and promoting digital awareness and education for seniors who wanted to stay connected with their friends and family. It was a fulfilling experience to make a positive impact on the lives of these individuals. Aside from academics and community work, sports have always been a significant part of my life. In my upper years of high school, I was a competitive swimmer, and I still enjoy swimming today. I also love playing badminton, table tennis, and exploring new sports and activities. It's essential for me to continuously hone my skills and embrace new environments, as I firmly believe that education is not just about acquiring facts; it's about training the mind to think critically and adapt to new challenges. In conclusion, I'm an engineering student, a dedicated tutor, a lifelong learner, and someone who is deeply committed to helping others in their educational journeys. I believe in the power of perseverance, learning from mistakes, and the importance of a well-rounded approach to education. As I continue my academic and personal pursuits, I hope to inspire and empower others to do the same.

Science class overview

My tutoring sessions are highly aligned with the academic needs of the students. I explain each concept in detail with valid examples And the tutoring sessions. My Math tutoring sessions are mostly for students in school, and the lesson plans are prepared based on the academic needs of the students. Generally, I explain each and every concept in the most simplified way I can, and I am also keen on listening to the student's doubts and providing clarifications to them. I try to keep my students as engaged in class discussions as I can. In the last 4 years of tutoring, I have tutored about 200 students. I also help my students with their assignments and homework. I tutor subjects from elementary to university level. I always take regular feedback from my students and parents and also give my feedback on the students performance, so that the tutoring sessions are effective for the learner. A supportive learning environment is essential for effective teaching and learning to occur. I put an emphasis on creating a classroom atmosphere that values diversity, encourages open communication, and respects varying perspectives.

To enhance my grasp of biological knowledge, both rudimentary and sophisticated, I, an 11th-grade student from Irvine, engaged pathak tutoring services. While initially daunted by the subject's difficulty, pathak patient and nurturing method of instruction proved transformative. Though I encountered obstacles with the basics initially, her direction facilitated the development of a strong academic footing, leading to positive outcomes. My performance in the biological sciences improved dramatically, a direct result of the abilities acquired through pathak guidance. I offer an unqualified endorsement for her services to any learner needing scientific aid, and I intend to continue our academic partnership as my studies advance.

For the past six months, pathak has been the coolest tutor ever for my little brother and sister, who are 8 and 7. They moved here from Ukraine and didn’t know much English at first. But in just half a year, pathak helped them get so good they’re almost as smart as their school friends now! She’s also super fun with my own kids, who are 6 and 4.5. They get so happy for her lessons and peek out the window to see her coming. We even got to meet her sweet daughter once, which was awesome! pathak makes learning fun with neat crafts and science stuff, and all the kids think she’s the greatest. We love her so much.

Learning algebra with Akshata in my final year at Sheridan College really helped me. In the beginning, I found the course too fast and had a hard time keeping up. pathak was kind, patient, and always ready to help. She gave me extra practice and support, which made me feel more confident. Thanks to her help, I understood things better and my grades improved a lot!
