About your tutor

I have completed my bachelor's degree in Mechatronics engineering. During my time at university, I worked at the peer learning center as a peer tutor for first and second-year engineering courses. I had the privilege of tutoring courses like, calculus 1 & 2, physics 1 & 2, linear algebra, statics, and more. My experiences have made me an excellent tutor by understanding the student's struggles, communicating concepts, and developing critical thinking in the student.

Class overview

I tutor math, physics and programming at a highschool and university level. My tutoring sessions are generally detailed and tailored to the needs of the students. Apart from tutoring, I also help my students with their assignments, homework, and test preparation. I always take regular feedback from my students and parents and also give my feedback on the student's performance, so that the tutoring sessions are effective for the learner.

I didn’t expect my 9-year-old to ever say math is fun but Muhammad Flower’s math tutoring in Park Slope really changed that. he mixes visuals along with some mini games and uses real-life examples to teach and it just clicks well with my kid. Now my kid wants to practice without me even asking and it’s honestly rare to find a math tutor like his around here!
