Engaging Chemistry & Biology lessons with collaborative focus

I am an extremely passionate biochemist who is exceptionally motivated to share my enthusiasm for science with others. Through working as a Learning Assistant for two years and tutoring for over three years, I have gained a diverse perspective on methodologies of teaching and creating a positive educational environment for students. I studied at UCLA starting in 2021 as a Biochemistry Major (B.S.) and studied Biomedical Engineering abroad at Maastricht University in 2023. I am optimistic about pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry in the near future while I continue tutoring students on topics related to physical sciences.

I offer flexible private tutoring focused on meeting students' individualistic needs. I specialize in teaching various topics related to chemistry, biochemistry, and biology including, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Introductory Biology, and more. I often take a visual approach by using slides and notes to present topics to students, but I am also keen to adapt to approaches that better suit their learning styles. My lessons are usually best suited for students ranging from middle school to college level and I have taught over 50 students in the past two years. Beyond answering questions, I am also able to help with preparing for examinations, quizzes, homework, and general assignments.
