I'm Marco, a Brazilian economist with a passion for unravelling economic mysteries and positively impacting the world. I've been captivated by economics since my high school days in Brazil. During the Brazilian economic crisis of 2015, I delved deep into understanding the complexities of economic phenomena and financial markets, sparking a curiosity that continues to drive me today. After completing my Bachelor's in Economics, I immersed myself in the dynamic world of finance, managing millions in investment assets and providing top-notch service to clients. Alongside, I pursued further education, honing my skills in finance and banking, all while facing personal challenges head-on. Realizing that my passion was in analytical work, I decided to pursue my true passion: economics. Through my Master's program, I've delved into cutting-edge research, from analyzing the impact of tax cuts on gas prices to investigating the effects of geopolitical conflicts on food prices. When I'm not crunching numbers, you can find me strategizing over a chessboard or jamming to the harmonious tunes of The Beach Boys. I'm a multi-instrumentalist who loves exploring new languages and cultures, reflecting my belief in the power of diverse perspectives.

My classes are always personalized to your personal objectives. My focus is always to convey the basic principles of economics. When you have a strong foundation, everything gets easier! My class is for all levels, high school students, economics undergrads, and students pursuing a graduate degree. I teach economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, statistics and data analysis coding with STATA, Python and R.
