Motivational French lessons with collaborative support

I'm a second-year PhD student in economics with both master's and bachelor's degrees in the subject. Ever since my master's program, I've been teaching economics concepts to undergraduate students. What's fascinating about economics is its versatility—it can be understood through both mathematics and plain English. Depending on your preference, we can tailor our approach accordingly. French is my native language, and I'm proficient in it. Moreover, one of the perks of pursuing a PhD is the opportunity to work with real-world data. This involves learning how to program and utilize statistical software to analyze and present meaningful insights from the data. That's how I became skilled in programs like Stata, R, Python, and Julia.

As a tutor, I focus on putting students at the center of my teaching approach. I want them to be engaged and actively participate in their learning. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. When planning a lesson, I first assess the student's current understanding and what they want to achieve. If there are any misunderstandings, I use real-life examples to explain things, making it easier for them to grasp the concepts. I also encourage students to solve problems and discuss their ideas during the lesson. After the class, I provide practice exercises and resources for them to study on their own. What makes me stand out as a tutor is my extensive knowledge and practical experience in economics. With a Ph.D. in economics and years of teaching experience, I have a deep understanding of the subject. I can present complex theories in a way that is easy to understand and relate academic concepts to real-life situations.
