Dr Luckshay - Know your tutor

As an accomplished mathematician, I have developed a passion for using my skills to explore and analyze complex financial systems. With over five years of experience in teaching and research, I have honed my skills in applied mathematics, information theory, financial modeling, data analysis, applied statistics, and computational finance. Through my research, I have become adept at using various software programs such as Mathematica, and R. During my teaching career, I have taught a range of mathematics subjects, including linear algebra, analysis, group theory, calculus, numerical methods, ordinary and partial differential equations, graph theory, probability and statistics, mathematical finance, optimization theory, and information coding theory. My research focuses on developing information theoretic measures for assessing financial markets, with a specific emphasis on portfolio optimization, option pricing, and volatile stock markets. I have published several papers in reputable journals, including FinTech, Chaos, Solitons and Fractals, Global Philosophy, Communications in Statistics-Theory and Methods, Stochastic Analysis and Applications, and Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications. I received my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Delhi Technological University in Delhi, India, where I researched information theoretic measures for assessing financial markets. I also hold a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from South Asian University in New Delhi, India, and a Bachelor's degree (with Honors) in Mathematics from Zakir Husain Delhi College, Delhi University.

Julian learned 7 months ago

Luckshay and Julian worked through a multivariable calculus problem involving the evaluation of a surface integral. They converted to polar coordinates and corrected a calculation error to arrive at the final answer of approximately 30.69. The session began with a brief discussion about current events and Julian's recent move.
