I am an educator based in Starkville, Mississippi. I have earned my Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University. My concentration is in Middle School Education with a K-6 licensure and endorsements in Social Studies and English. I am passionate about improving ESL and EFL education. During my time as a Graduate Research Assistant, I contributed to the development of a "Teaching with Primary Sources" professional development course, and I have co-published and co-presented a lesson plan and article with Mississippi History now. My notable recognitions include winning 1st place at the Graduate Student Research Symposium as well as becoming a Fulbright semi-finalist. Epps has been an incredible support system for me. Whenever I had some trouble, I would always seek her help and she is always so ready to help anyone who needs her. She really is able to break down complex writings into simpler easy terms but still helps you in increasing your vocabulary by teaching you new words everyday.
