Cristian - Get to know your vocal coach
Music has shaped my life since I began intensive classical vocal training in Moldova at 6. I performed almost daily for crowds of tens of thousands, including 3 presidents, government officials, and parliament, while my demanding schedule took priority over school. After moving to the UK, I studied at Birmingham Ormiston Academy, developing as an artist, then studied vocal performance at BIMM in Birmingham and Brighton. By sixteen, I was producing for major platforms, including writing and producing tracks for Love Island. I also performed with my band across Birmingham, including Sunflower Lounge, O2 Academy, The Flapper, and The Night Owl. Working with artists such as Ysabelle Angeli from Say Now and Tom Grennan gave me studio and live experience. I play five instruments, especially piano. My Teaching Style: My practical, hands-on teaching draws on over fifteen years of studio sessions, performances, and high pressure gigs - not dry theory or jargon. I specialise in Pop and Classical while teaching singers across genres, focusing on: Ear training and pitch: Make accurate notes feel natural. Vocal agility and tone: Improve control, transitions, and sound. Range and power: Expand your range safely. Stage and studio confidence: Build breath control, projection, and comfort with the microphone. Whether you’re a beginner, refining your vocals, or preparing for sessions and gigs, I tailor lessons to you. I'm supportive and approachable, creating a relaxed, judgment-free space. After tutoring privately for a couple of years, I’ve learned to identify technical barriers and bring out students’ strengths. I provide tools and guidance; your progress depends on commitment and consistency. Put in the work, and we can achieve wonderful results together.
