As a vocalist, music educator, and performing artist with over six years of experience in music education, I am passionate about helping students develop their voices, build confidence, and discover the joy of musical expression. My musical background spans contemporary and pop singing, musical theatre, classical voice, piano, and music theory. I have extensive understanding of vocal technique, musical interpretation, performance preparation, and the importance of developing a healthy, versatile voice. As a teacher, I believe that strong technique and musical expression should go hand in hand. I teach students to develop skills such as breath control, pitch accuracy, tone, range, and vocal flexibility while exploring the genres and repertoire that inspire them. Whether a student is interested in contemporary pop, belting, musical theatre, audition preparation, or classical singing, I strive to tailor lessons to their individual goals, abilities, and interests. I want my students to develop not only as singers, but also as confident musicians who feel comfortable experimenting, expressing themselves, and finding their own artistic identity. My experience transitioning educational programming to fully remote delivery alongside teaching online and in-person private lessons, has helped me understand the importance of adaptability, clear communication, and student engagement in a virtual learning environment. I am comfortable adjusting my teaching approach to meet different learning needs and believe that online lessons can provide a meaningful, personalized, and encouraging musical experience.
