I am delighted to apply for the position of Vocal Coach with Wiingy. With a BA (Honours) Degree in Performing Arts, Grade 8 Singing from the Guildhall School of Music, and extensive experience in performing arts education, teaching and community engagement, I believe I have the qualifications, experience and enthusiasm to make a valuable contribution to your team. My background combines formal musical training with practical experience in performance, teaching and creative facilitation. Alongside my Grade 8 Singing qualification, I hold Grade 5 qualifications in both Piano and Music Theory, providing me with a strong understanding of musical structure, technique and performance. Throughout my career, I have delivered creative workshops and educational programmes to children, young people and adults of varying abilities. This includes delivering drama and singing workshops at Hull Truck Youth Theatre, lecturing in Performing Arts at Hull College, and working extensively with schools and community organisations to develop confidence, creativity and self-expression. As a performer myself, I understand the importance of vocal confidence, musical interpretation, performance technique and developing an individual style. I am passionate about helping others discover their abilities and creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to challenge themselves and progress. My teaching approach is patient, enthusiastic and adaptable. I recognise that every student has different aspirations, whether they are singing for enjoyment, developing their vocal ability or preparing for performances. I believe lessons should be engaging, confidence-building and tailored to individual learning needs.
