Learn French with a Native French-Canadian Tutor with 10+ Years of Experience. Personalized Online Lessons for All Levels.

I'm Laurence Poulin, a native French-Canadian tutor from Montreal, Quebec, now based in Toronto for more than a decade. I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, working with students of all ages and levels, from elementary and high school students to adults. I love teaching French and helping students grow and reach their goals on their French-learning journey. Whether you need to prepare for the TEF or TCF, improve your grammar, get academic support, or simply want to practice conversational French, I tailor every lesson to your goals, your learning style, and your pace. My teaching style is engaging, encouraging, and focused on each student's individual strengths. I believe that learning a language should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience, even when tackling difficult grammar rules or unfamiliar vocabulary. Having grown up in Montreal and completed my education in French through college, I also love sharing the cultural aspects of the language and helping students understand how French is spoken in everyday situations. Whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for an important exam, or looking to take your French to the next level, we'll work together to identify your strengths, overcome your challenges, and celebrate your progress along the way. Together, we'll build the confidence you need to reach your own summit, one conversation at a time!
