Classical Violin Tutor with almost two decades of experience in violin playing/teaching all ages/skill levels!

Hey everyone! My name is Ravi Thangirala, and I am a bachelor's-educated violin tutor with over 2 years of experience teaching all types of students: kids, adults, beginners, and intermediate players. I have played the violin for over 16 years (I am 20) and have learned through the Suzuki method to now learning and mastering the top violin concertos (Brahms, Beethoven, Bruch, Tchaikovsky, etc.). I love helping all my students improve their musicality, technique, or whatever is needed to perfect their playing! Usually, a lesson starts off by pinpointing exactly where you are struggling and after we pinpoint that, we work on the ways we can improve that, if its a technical problem, or a musical problem. And from there, my goal is to guide you to create your own unique sound through the violin. That is a big focus. I believe that technique is a good fundamental to learning the violin, but actually enjoying playing the violin is where creating your own unique sound is where the fun is! Whatever level you are at, we will start off from where you need the most help, and from there, make sure each lesson you leave with a much higher understanding of what to practice and get ready for the next lesson. Hopefully you will join me and start/continue your violin journey!
