Juilliard-Trained Violinist | Classical Foundations, Pop Favorites & Violin Lessons for All!

Hi! My name is Jessica Yang. I’m a professional violinist with performance and education degrees from The Juilliard School, Rice University, and Texas Woman’s University. I’ve been teaching violin since 2018 and have experience working with students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re just starting out, picking up the violin again, or preparing for auditions and competitions, I’m happy to help! I tailor lessons to each student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style, while making sure we build a solid foundation along the way. I believe everyone learns differently, so I want to find an approach that works best for you. My goal is to help you improve your technique, feel more confident, and most importantly, enjoy making music! I specialize in classical violin, but hey, it doesn’t always have to be so serious! Whether you want to follow the classical route, work on challenging repertoire, or learn some of your favorite pop songs, I’m totally down for the ride. Music should be something you look forward to, and there’s room for fun along the way. Whether you’re learning for fun or working toward a specific goal, I’d love to be part of your musical journey. Feel free to reach out, and let’s see what we can accomplish together!
