Experienced Maths Tutor | Making Difficult Concepts Simple, Clear and Easy to Understand

Hi, I’m Ashi Nigam, and I’m a Mathematics tutor with an M.Sc. in Mathematics and more than 3 years of teaching experience. I enjoy teaching Maths because I like helping students understand the logic behind a concept instead of simply asking them to memorize formulas. I have taught students at different levels, from school Mathematics to more advanced topics such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Functions, Precalculus, and Calculus. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and interactive. I understand that every student learns differently, so I first try to understand where the student is struggling and then explain the topic in a way that feels simple and comfortable for them. I usually break difficult questions into smaller steps and use examples, diagrams, and practice questions whenever they help make the concept clearer. I also encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed. I believe mistakes are a natural part of learning, especially in Mathematics. During a lesson, I try to involve the student rather than doing all the work myself. I ask questions, give hints when needed, and encourage them to explain their thinking. This helps students become more confident and independent problem solvers. Whether a student needs help with homework, wants to prepare for an exam, or simply wants to improve their understanding of Maths, I try to make every lesson useful and enjoyable. My goal is to help students feel that Mathematics is something they can actually understand and succeed in.
