My vocal journey started at age six and has taken me all around the world working in opera, jazz, musical theatre and many liturgical contexts. I teach Core Concepts Like - Breath work - Vocal Registration - Resonant Vowel Choices - And Scale these Concepts Based on Skill Level For Young Singers I create games and fun echo exercise that are light on technical jargon and get the student singing As a student Progresses I introduce concepts of Anatomy and Physiology related to how the voice produces sound I like to meet student where they are and often disengagement stems forom lack of alignment with interest. My goal is to share the responsibility of learning with the student and that means stay current with rep, actively listen and respond to their needs and create materials that are fun and engaging.
