Making Math Click: Teaching Algebra Through Calculus III Clearly, All Ages For the Future Engineers

Hi, I'm Alexander Flores, a Computer Science student at William Rainey Harper College currently preparing to transfer to Northern Illinois University. I offer tutoring in Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus (I–III), and Discrete Mathematics for students ranging from elementary school through college level. My approach centers on hands-on practice: I build custom worksheets and guided problem sets tailored to each student's current level, then work through exercises step-by-step until the concept truly clicks — not just memorized, but understood. As a math and CS student myself, I know firsthand how a strong foundation in these subjects makes everything after it easier, so I focus on building confidence alongside skill. Whether you're struggling with fractions, tackling limits and derivatives, or working through proofs and combinatorics, I meet you where you are and adjust the pace to fit your goals, whether that's passing a test, catching up in class, or getting ahead for next semester. As a student from before, I know how important it is to know a concept to build on and to further advance your career Let's turn math from a struggle into something you're actually good at.
