I’m Bethany, and I hold a BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre Performance, as well as being a singing teacher with 2 years of experience. I have specialised mainly in ages 5-18, however I am open to adult clients also. I am currently a performer myself, auditioning and training. I have a passion for learning to sing sustainably and connecting to lyric through music and performance. I specialise in Legit-Golden age MT style, Contemporary MT style, Pop, Pop-Rock and use an Estille approach when training and teaching. I will encourage healthy singing habits that will help you sustain your voice throughout performances. We will focus on how to use your body to develop sound, creating personized warm-ups and preperation to sing. I tailor my teaching to my students using different analogies dependent on learning style: whether that be a physical, literal, metaphorical or hollistic approach. I will help elevate your performance level, offering acting through song within our sessions, preparing you for auditions or performances. We can also build your repertoire, creating a folder of songs you can use in any scenario - I can offer you songs and provide sheet music had you not have access to this, as well as backing tracks. So lets create a safe working space for you to flourish!
