2+ Years science and math Teaching Experience | Concept-Focused, Interactive & Student-Centred Teaching | Biology

I am a passionate, patient, and dedicated tutor with over 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Science. I have worked with students from different age groups and learning levels through both one-to-one and online teaching. My teaching experience includes working with Cuemath, where I teach Mathematics to students from Grades 3 to 8 through personalized one-to-one sessions. This experience has helped me develop strong skills in identifying students' learning gaps, explaining concepts step-by-step, and improving their problem-solving and mathematical reasoning abilities. I have also worked with UpRio as a Science tutor, teaching students from Grades 6 to 10 and helping them build a strong understanding of scientific concepts. In addition to my professional tutoring experience, I have over two years of home tutoring experience in Mathematics and Science for students in Grades 8 and 9. I also have experience teaching Mathematics to students from grade 3 to 8. My academic background in Life Sciences and Zoology allows me to teach Biology effectively, including Biology for Grades 9–12 and A-Level Biology. My teaching style is student-centred, interactive, and focused on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I first understand the student's current level, learning difficulties, and goals, and then adapt my lessons accordingly. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, diagrams, visual aids, and practice questions to make concepts easier to understand. In Mathematics, I focus on logical thinking, problem-solving, accuracy, and building confidence. In Science and Biology, I connect theoretical concepts with real-world examples and encourage students to understand the reasoning behind each concept.
