About your engineering tutor

I have been passionate about teaching from a very young age, and I possess all the qualities that a teacher needs to have, such as good communication skills and the ability to convey the matter to others with ease. I earned my bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from BPUT, Odisha. I also completed my master's from IIT Kharagpur in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I have taught undergrad students of Engineering courses at various universities all over India. My teaching interests are Basic Electronics, Analog Electronics, Analog and Digital Communications, and Wireless Communication. I also do research in the field of LiFi and WiFi. I do the implementation of the research ideas using MATLAB, Python.

My teaching strategies are totally based on the requirements of the students. As the learning requirements of each student are different. Generally, I explain each and every concept in the most simplified way I can, and I am also keen on listening to the students doubts and providing clarifications to them. I try to keep my students as engaged in the class discussions as I can. I also assist them with their assignments, homework, and test preparation.

Engineering concepts taught by saswati

Student learned 9 days ago

The tutor and student reviewed signal processing concepts, specifically focusing on applying the Discrete-Time Fourier Transform (DTFT) to analyze difference equations and signals. They practiced converting between time and frequency domains, calculating impulse responses, and determining system outputs. The session concluded with the student being tasked with solving a similar problem with a modified input signal.

The tutor and student explored the concept of system convolution in signal processing, calculating the output of LTI systems given impulse response and input signals. They practiced solving convolution problems, including shifted inputs, and began discussing how difference equations relate to impulse and frequency responses in the frequency domain.

The class covered fundamental concepts in digital signal processing, including discrete-time signal manipulation, the properties of unit step and impulse signals, and the analysis of Linear Time-Invariant (LTI) systems. The student practiced applying definitions of stability, causality, linearity, and time-invariance to a given system. The next session will continue with system analysis problems.
