Hello and welcome! I am Rolande an experienced and passionate online English tutor dedicated to helping learners improve their English communication skills with confidence, clarity, and ease. My goal is not simply to teach English, but to create a supportive learning environment where students can feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, practising, and gradually becoming more fluent. I hold a Degree in English Modern Letters, with a specialization in Language, and I have also pursued advanced studies in Education, specializing in Mental Handicap. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in English language, communication, pedagogy, and learner-centred teaching. I have also gained practical teaching experience over the years, I have worked with learners of different ages and levels, including beginners, intermediate learners, students who need academic support, and adults who want to improve their communication skills for personal or professional reasons. Some students need help with grammar, while others struggle with pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, speaking, or confidence. For this reason, I adapt my lessons according to each learner’s needs, objectives, level, and learning pace. My teaching approach is practical, interactive, and learner-centred. Instead of making students memorize long lists of grammar rules, I encourage them to use English in realistic situations. My lessons may include conversations, role plays, vocabulary activities, pronunciation practice, grammar exercises, listening tasks, reading comprehension, and guided discussions. I believe that students learn best when they actively participate in the lesson rather than simply listen to the teacher.
