Hi! My name is Jillian. I’ve been teaching voice lessons to people of all ages and abilities since 2013. I have a Masters degree in classical voice performance (2016), and I’ve been taking lessons to learn other vocal techniques to be the best teacher possible! Over the last 10 years, I have honed my teaching style to tailor every lesson to the individual with a holistic approach; there is not one way to say or do anything when it comes to vocal technique and performance. So much of singing depends on the rest of the body, and I aim to connect my students to their whole body when they sing. I aim to give my students the “tools” they need to thrive and be comfortable and confident with performing. Whether that’s hitting the high notes, finishing a phrase without running out of air, or singing a song in a different language than your own - I’m here to help. I’ve sung extensively in Italian, German and French (and a bit of Russian and Czech), so I can also teach my students how to perform in those languages if they need assistance. Nothing brings me more joy than helping people find their unique voices and reach their goals. I love teaching children over the age of 8, and anyone older!
