My name is Mariam and I am a vocal and performance coach based in south east England. I have been coaching singers of all ages and abilities for around twelve years and love helping people find their voice. Having graduated from the London School of Musical Theatre in 2005 and worked extensively as a proffesional performer and session vocalist I have a wealth of experience in all contemporary styles of singing including rock, pop and musical theatre. I also have a love of close harmony having sung in a female vintage trio for ten years. With that in mind harmony work is something I am always happy to help with. I take an individual approach with all my students to help them grow in confidence and try to provide a comfortable space to explore your voice without fear of judgement. I also have a passion for audition preparation, performance techniques and acting through song. I specialise in selecting repertoire to help you show both your technical ability and performsnce style. I take vocal health very seriously and can help you learn the best ways to care for your instrument to keep you singing up a storm. Whether you’re a total beginner, looking to refresh your skills or you’ve been training for some time I look forward to working with you.
