About your spanish tutor
Hola :) I'm from Colombia and I have a degree in Modern Languages and Culture. From a young age, I've loved to learn and study languages. I think it's fascinating how people's points of view or their conception of life can be very influenced by the language they grow up with. It's also really interesting to analyze the way their minds, thoughts, pronunciation and even personality change when they learn a new one. For more than 4 years already, I've dedicated myself to teaching Spanish as a second language to people of any age and culture. I'm able to explain patiently any topic students may not understand properly and talk a little about the historical/cultural background of that topic if there's an opportunity. How is a class with me more exactly? 🧑🏫 Classes with me normally consist of a short explanation of the topic, and then we do activities or games online so that you can start using what you're learning instead of just hearing about it. In between, we work on grammar, learn more vocabulary, and practice pronunciation. Activities are also designed to make you say things that you're actually going to use or need, rather than just talking about random topics. Since I design all my classes and materials, the classes are also “connected,” which means that what we learn in one class will be useful for the next ones. I also create new materials or redesign existing ones to make certain topics easier for you if you ever struggle with something, or if you'd like to practice something specifically. Other interests I have: Chess Videogames Programming Technology History Economy Reading I hope to know yours soon!
