Michaella is an award winning, highly experienced vocalist with experience in pop, jazz, blues, and broadway styles. Let’s have some fun!

I have taught on Music Row in Nashville, TN, in Philadelphia, PA and through my personal studio. During my time in school, I have received five National DownBeat Awards. I have experience teaching students as young as elementary school aged to advanced adults. My love for teaching music comes from my love for finding your voice. I have had some phenomenal music teachers and some not so great music teachers. I love helping students find confidence in themselves and their voice. Watching a student grow is so exciting and I love being there every step of the way. My philosophy for teaching isn’t to sit and do the monotonous scales and so-called “boring” things. Although we do utilize the “boring” exercises and calisthenics, we also work on other ways to learn that is not an hour full of calisthenics. I try to make music lessons something that people look forward to and get excited for. In addition to voice, I also teach guitar, piano, and ukulele. Through my academic career and experience teaching, I have learned a plethora of skills that aide students in becoming stronger and more confident musicians. I myself, believe I have become a stronger musician through my time teaching. I look forward to working with students who are excited, ambitious, and willing to put their best foot forward!
