Im James Juodvirsis, and Ive been singing professionally for over 20 years. Whether it be performing with my band "The Boys & I" or in various musical theatre productions, including The Wizard of Oz & Addams Family Musical. I train rigorously, and teach both technique and stage presence. It is one thing to be able to sing the right notes, but another thing to be able to sell the emotion behind those notes. I teach pitch, resonance, and can help you find where you're already at, and show you how to build on that. I teach harmony, so that after you build up your own skills, you're able to effectively blend with others anywhere you may find yourself singing. My goal is to help each student develop a voice that is not only technically strong, but uniquely their own. Whether you're just starting out, preparing for an audition, performing in a musical, singing in a band, or simply looking to become more confident in your voice, I tailor my approach to your individual goals and experience. I believe great singing isn't about trying to sound like someone else. It's about understanding your instrument, developing confidence, and learning how to communicate with an audience. I'll give you practical tools you can use both in the lesson room and on stage, while creating a positive environment where you can experiment, make mistakes, and grow. After more than 20 years of performing, I've learned that technique gives you the foundation, but confidence, authenticity and emotion are what make people want to listen.
