I am a passionate and kind english tutor with over two years of experience. I tutor at multipe different levels: primary age, pre GCSE and at GCSE level. At my own GCSEs i went on to achieve an A* in english through a focus on essay technique. My teaching style is heavily student based. I ensure to tailor each session to your needs to allow you to gain the most confidence and benefits. I tutor many different elements of english. These include essay technique, literary understanding and analysis, language and phonetics, specific text or novel study including classical works and creative writing. In my experience of tutoring for english students, i have recieved most comments on how my improvement of the students written structure aided their grades. I hold a focus on this, as this is what helped me through each of my exams. I believe that a solid structure is the best way to get across your much studied work, which is why i perfect this with my students. Sentence and paragraph structure changes from person to person, so i take care to work with each student to tailor their own personal system.
