Dedicated Economics Tutor for Middle and High Schoolers, Building Custom Study Plans

I'm Angela Mohan, and I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Economics. While I'm still completing my formal education, I bring genuine enthusiasm and a strong grasp of core economic concepts to every session, along with the fresh perspective of someone who has recently worked through the same material my students are learning now. I focus exclusively on teaching high school students, which lets me tailor everything I do to where they are academically and emotionally at this stage. High schoolers are juggling exams, college prep, and a lot of new material at once, and I understand how overwhelming that can feel. My core teaching strength is building personalized learning plans. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I start by understanding each student's current level, learning style, and specific challenges — whether that's grasping supply and demand, macroeconomic indicators, market structures, or exam-specific skills like essay writing for AP or IB Economics. From there, I design a plan that targets their weak spots while reinforcing what they already know, adjusting the pace as we go. I believe economics becomes much easier once students see it as a way of explaining real-world decisions, not just memorizing graphs and definitions. I use relatable, everyday examples to make abstract concepts click, and I regularly check in on progress so the plan keeps evolving with the student's needs.
