Hello-I'm Rich Clemenson, I grew up in a musical family. Learning to play at an early age helped solidify a love of music and helping people reach their goals on the guitar. Growing up I always had friends ask me to teach them a song or helping them learn a few chords or popular riff. I studied music theory in school and has been a life long passion of mine. Theory teaches how music works. A guitar tutor with over 11 years of experience. I have studied with BERKLEE College of Music online, taking courses in bass, guitar, writing and arranging. My specialty lies in chord progression, ear training, reading notation ( not just tabs)chord theory, learning about chord qualities major, minor and dominant 7 and their inversions, and a wide array of guitar techniques. I offer personalized lessons electric, classical, fingerstyle and bass electric and upright. Learning the fundamentals of bass reading rhythms and notes, locking in with the drums, holding a groove, slap techniques chords and playing the melody( harmony). I offer lessons to kids, beginners, intermediates and adults. Whether you're starting from scratch or aiming to refine your skills, I tailor each lesson to your needs.
