Kyle - Violin teacher

Hello! My name is Kyle, and I’m a Biology student at the University of Georgia with a passion for helping others learn and grow. I’ve been playing the violin for many years, and music has been one of the biggest parts of my life. Throughout high school and college, I’ve had the opportunity to perform in orchestras, chamber ensembles, weddings, and other events, giving me experience with both classical performance and working under pressure. I believe the best lessons are the ones students genuinely look forward to. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalized. Every student learns differently, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you’re picking up the violin for the very first time, preparing for an audition, or simply looking to improve your technique, I’ll adjust each lesson to match your goals, experience level, and learning style. Instead of making lessons feel like a chore, I like to keep them interactive, engaging, and rewarding. We’ll celebrate progress, tackle challenges together, and build confidence one step at a time. I focus on creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying new things. After all, every great musician started as a beginner! My experience includes years of performing, practicing, and mentoring younger musicians. I’ve helped students improve their posture, bow hold, intonation and rhythm. Whether your goal is to perform in an orchestra, prepare for school auditions, learn a favorite piece, or simply explore a new hobby, I’d love to help you reach your goals. My mission is to make every lesson enjoyable, productive, and something you’ll leave feeling proud of. I can’t wait to meet you and start making music together!
