I am a dedicated and experienced English tutor with over three years of experience. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology which truly strengthened my writing, research, and grammar capabilities. I am also pursuing my Master of Arts degree in Sociology with a Criminology concentration which will further strengthen these skills. My passion lies in providing personalized English tutoring for kids, beginners, intermediates, and adults. I offer a range of specialties including accent coaching, conversational practice, and grammar/syntax. With me, we'll delve into vocabulary, grammar, literature, and more. I pride myself on being able to tailor lessons to your needs; whether that includes enhancing spoken fluency, mastering test prep strategies, or strengthening grammar. I have experience tutoring children ages four to twelve. I worked as an after-school counselor in a PreK-5 elementary school in which I assisted with homework on a daily basis. I also served as a peer tutor in high school as a part of my National Honors Society, specifically in English. Lastly, I served as a peer tutor during undergrad due to a recommendation from my Honors English professor. I am a current student and Teacher's Assistant for college students so not only do I know what helps me learn best, but I know how to help other students learn as well.
